At United Counseling Associates (UCA), we believe quality care begins with understanding each person’s unique needs, strengths, experiences, and goals. Our Psychotherapy & Mental Health Services provide a supportive and confidential environment where individuals and families can address emotional, behavioral, relational, and life concerns with appropriately qualified mental health professionals. Depending on individual needs and the clinician’s qualifications and scope of practice, psychotherapy may address concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, trauma-related experiences, emotional regulation, relationship difficulties, adjustment to life changes, and other mental health needs. Treatment is individualized and guided by clinically appropriate goals, client needs and preferences, and the professional judgment of the treating clinician.

Our Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Services are distinct from psychotherapy and focus on behaviorally defined needs and individualized, socially meaningful goals. UCA’s BCBAs develop and oversee individualized, data-driven treatment plans based on behavior-analytic assessment findings, clinical needs, objective data, and client and family priorities. ABA services may address areas such as functional communication, social interaction, daily living skills, safety, learning readiness, independence, and functional alternatives to behaviors that interfere with everyday activities. Progress is monitored using objective data, and treatment may be adjusted as clinically appropriate. ABA services are not represented as psychotherapy or as treatment or cure of a medical or psychological diagnosis. Each UCA professional provides services according to their respective credentials, qualifications, scope of practice, and applicable professional requirements.
